GIA AND IGI CERTIFICATES

An approach that pays off

We are pleased to inform you that requesting a GIA (Gemological Institute of America) certificate for your diamond is possible. This internationally renowned laboratory, the world's foremost authority on gemology, analyzes each diamond to produce a detailed certificate that provides you with precise information on its characteristics, including the 4 C's: weight, color, clarity, and cut of the diamond, as well as its dimensions, fluorescence, polish, and symmetry. Although this process is not free (about 200€), it can be an excellent option for those who want an additional guarantee on the quality of their diamond.

Once appraised, the diamond is delivered in an envelope with a certificate number laser engraved on the roundel in some cases. A printed certificate also accompanies the diamond, detailing all the unique characteristics of your gemstone.

For specific cuts of particular stones (like the marquise cut) or big stones, we can provide you with a certificate from the IGI (International Gemological Institute) or HRD for a double guarantee. These are "closed" certificates, where the diamond is sealed in a transparent polyester box. Please note that this process is also subject to a fee and requires a written request to the laboratory.
